1.1工作描述

C.试验和验收标准:

1.本地操作试验: 在安装完成之后,承包商必须指导本地运行试验,并且提交详细资料和测验结果给皇室委员会给审核。设备将作为完整的工作系统的示范作业,并且符合本文的描述。

1.3 提交

A. 总则: 除在下面列举的提交文件之外,除非另有说明,在购买之前,承包商必须提供,所有购买物品的目录删减和制造商数据,供皇室委员会审核。

1.交通信号杆的设计计算、柄长、基杆,以1 60公里/时风速为准,以及标杆、柄长和基杆净负载。

2. 制造商提供的材料证明与上述工作图里的设计计算、规格和详细说明相符。

3. 现有的安装中,制造商以前在沙特阿拉伯已经提供相同材料目录。

TRAFFIC SIGNALS PART 1 --- GENERAL

1.1 DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The extent of the traffic signals is indicated on the drawings and includes the provision of all materials, equipment, fabrication, labor and transportation complete, including traffic signals, traffic signal controllers, signal poles, foundations, reinforced concrete duct bank street crossings, wiring and cables required. Signalized intersections shall be compatible wit an expansion of the existing Royal Commission Area Traffic Control System and Contractor shall provide all required electrical telecommunications connections for comp h II comply with the Control Devices, latest revision.

Codes and Standards:

The following, as applicable, shall govern the manner in which the work is performed, unless and until the Royal Commission provides written direction to the contrary. Wherever references are made in this contract to Royal Commission codes, these codes shall be read along with the corresponding United States of America Codes and Standards current on the date of this contract, unless otherwise specified in the contract.

C.    Tests and Acceptance Criteria:

Local Operating Test: After completion of installation, the Contractor shall conduct local operating tests, and submit details and test results to the Royal Commission for review. The equipment shall be demonstrated to operate as a complete working system and in accordance with the requirements described herein.

Area Traffic Control System operating Test (By Others): Traffic signals provided and installed by the Contractor will be further tested for proper operation by the Area Traffic Control System O&M Contractor (others). Satisfactory test results are required prior to final acceptance of the new signal installations. The Contractor shall make all necessary corrections or modifications to the equipment furnished and installed by him to achieve proper operation of the signals by the existing area control system.

Ground-Resistance Measurements: Measure and certify to Royal Commission ground-resistance for each ground rod. Submit in writing measured ground-resistance of each ground rod and grounding system to the Royal Commission upon completion of project.

1.3 SUBMITTALS

A. General: In addition to submittals listed below, unless otherwise directed, the Contractor shall provide, prior to purchase, catalogue cuts and manufacturers data for all items to be purchased, for review by the Royal Commission.

Design calculations for the Traffic Signal Poles and Arms, based on wind velocity of 160 KPH and the dead load from poles, arms, and signal heads.

Manufacturer's Certification for the materials to be supplied conforming to the above design calculations, specifications and details shown in the shop drawings.

List of existing installation that manufacturer has previously supplied with the same materials, in Saudi Arabia.
