指定那些使用于马达制冷媒质输送用管线上的快速耦合连接器相关的最低功能参数,这些管线安装在车体以及马达配电盘上。
此文件可以应用于柴油和汽油引擎的制冷系统,或者别的引擎,工作压力最高350KPa、工作温度140℃(峰值温度150℃不得连续超过20分钟)。
 快速耦合接头必须符合效能测试所规定的要求,相关的测试要求由采购部门提供,连接的界面为(橡胶接头、聚酰胺管道等等)
如决定新型号将使用紧固连接耦合接头;同时钻孔尺寸也确定之后,请遵照VDA标准的要求执行(有特别要求的零件可以除外)

定义
快速紧固接头是一种装置,使管道与管道连接具有良好的水密封性;或者是管道和零部件之间的连接密封性,此装置无须使用额外的零件,以及具有免维护性。
相应于应用的条件,此种连接可以有固定的目标体,也可以没有。
连接由一个雌头件和一个水龙头组成,请参见章节1.3.
此耦合连接对于那些系统内有特别要求的部分而言是一个示范,请参见章节1.4.
一般而言,雌接头件套接在橡胶管道上面,水龙头则安装在所应用的零件上(散热器,热交换器,波纹歧管等等。)
活栓供应商和雌接头供应商不允许是同一个单位,两个零件都必须达到一致性测试的要求。

紧固耦合件/管道间的接触
每一种接触类型/技术方案(比如:连接形状、管道材料的类型)都必须符合指定的应用场合/零件采购规格说明。
每个集合件都必须符合相应的管道采购规格说明内所指定的类型。

每个紧固耦合连接的分类和型号都必须核实有效性
采购管理和监督部门有责任对所有尺寸、标题类型、或者是连接体系的相关限定条款作出评估。

连接件
紧固耦合连接无须任何形式的润滑。
 O形密封圈须由供应商提前作好润滑步骤。此类条件下,为了作好资质控制以及相应的修正方案,润滑参数必须提交给中心实验室,并且需要同时附上最大使用数量参数。
 配孔内的插入件(也包括那些同心度有偏差的零件)不得损伤O形密封圈,也不允许损伤配孔本身,在正常的重复操作条件下不应该影响密封的效果。

 备注:车辆/马达生产线上的连接装配程序中所使用的所有的工具,包括全自动的、半自动的、手动的,都必须事先得到供应商的核实。此类供应商是指那些提供相应的管道件/零

件/集合件供应商,紧固耦合连接件直接应用于上述产品。

冷却液温度变化范围从-40~140℃(峰值为150℃,不超过20分钟),马达内隔仓温度范围为-40~110℃

车辆使用生命内连接和分断操作最多不高于30次

储藏

紧固耦合连接件的储藏条件以不损害零件的性能和特征为基准。仓库储藏一年,最高温度不得超过
40℃,最低温度-20℃,相对湿度范围为50~70%。
紧固耦合连接件应该可以承受最高连续两个月温度达85℃,和连续两个月最低温度达-30℃的储藏条件
(储藏于船体/集装箱),相对环境湿度90%和温度条件2℃的条件下,储藏两个月不得出现零件性能/
特征的下降(在相对湿度90%、温度范围0±2℃条件下,储藏时间至少两个月)。

PURPOSE
Specify minimum functional parameters for rapid couplings of motor cooling liquid feeding lines, which
are installed both on body and motor board.
The document applies to the  cooling systems for  Diesel  oil or gasoline motors and others  with
operating pressures up to 350 kPa  and temperatures to 140°C with 150°C peaks for maximum 20
min..
Rapid couplings shall also comply with qualifications tests, which are provided by the Procurements
Specifications of components, they are interfaced with (rubber couplings, polyamide pipes, etc.).
As far as the use of fast couplings on new models is concerned, as far as tap sizes are concerned,
follow the VDA standard (apart from applications requiring the use of c.o. components).

GENERALITIES
1.1
Definition
The fast coupling is a device allowing a watertight connection between two pipes or between a pipe
and a component/user, without using further fastening components and without maintenance needs.
According to the application, the connection can require objectivation or not.
The connection consists of a female part and a tap, as shown in paragraph 1.3.
The coupling can assume the orientation required by specific needs of the system, in which it is
installed, as shown in paragraph 1.4.
Normally, the female part is butted on the rubber pipe and the tap obtained on the using components
(radiators, heat exchanger, manifolds, etc.).
Should the tap Supplier be different from the female component one, both parts shall guarantee the
compliance with conformity tests.
1.2
Fast coupling/pipe interfacing
Each interfacing typology/technical solution (e.g. interfacing union profile, pipe material type) shall be
qualification subject aimed to the specific Procurement Specifications of the supplied components, on
which couplings were installed.
Each assembly shall be qualified according to modes specified by the P.S. related to the pipe being
examined.

Qualification extension
Each fast coupling family/typology has to be qualified.
The Managing/Supervising Dept. of this P.S. has  to evaluate any qualification extensions for the
variations of diameter, heading typology or connecting system.
1.7
Connection
Fast couplings have not to need lubrication by the monitoring operator.
O-Rings can be pre-lubricated by the Supplier. In this case, in qualification and modification case, the
lubricant  specification has to be  sent  to Central Laboratories,  also indicating the maximum used
quantity.
The insert, also incorrect (e.g. not co-axial) of the tap has not to cause damages of the O-Rings or of
the tap itself, affecting its sealing after repeating the operation correctly.
NOTE:  Any  tools for the vehicle/motor online  connection, either automatic or semiautomatic or
manual, have to be previously authorized by the Supplier of the pipe / component /assembly,
on which the rapid coupling is installed.
Mission profile
The coupling lifetime is the same as the vehicle one: 10 years or 300.000 Km covered at 30 Km/h
average speed for overall 10.000 h circulation of the coolant.
The cooling liquid temperature may vary from -40 to 140°C (150°C peak for max. 20 min), while the
temperature inside the motor compartment can range from -40 to 110°C (130°C peak).
The connection and disconnection number in the vehicle life can be 30 at the most.
1.9
Storage
Fast couplings must be able to be kept, with no damaging of their characteristics/performances, for
one year in a warehouse whose maximum temperature is 40°C and minimum temperature is -20°C,
with relative humidity ranging from 50 to 70%.
Fast  couplings must  be able to bear  a maximum continuous temperature of 85°C and a minimum
continuous temperature of -30°C for two months (handling in ship/container), they must  be able to
bear their stay for two months in an environment with relative humidity of 90% and temperature of 2°C
with no damaging of their characteristics/performances, the exposure, for 2 months, in environment
with 90% relative humidity and 0 ± 2°C temperature.

Drawing callout
The following prescriptions have to be indicated on the finished product drawing:
•  the number of this Procurement Specification;
•  the dimensions of the key characteristics according to archetype drawing
•  the tap geometry highlighting the edition of this P.S. one refers to and i particular:
o  If c.o. parts conforming to edition 2A are used:
ƒ  CSC/Cmot classification 
ƒ  Seal external diameter
o  If parts conforming to P.S. edition 3 are used
ƒ  NW reference diameter
•  the material  and dimensions of the  O-rings  acc. to P.S. 9.14618 and/or of the sealing
component according to supplier's specification accepted by Laboratories;
•  the material  of all coupling components (including  any indications on the material  recycling
possibility)
