简介
1.机械压力开关的应用
机械压力开关也称之为水电压力监视器,用来连结或者断开电路。一个压力开关可以作为一个单元组合元件和一台视觉或者声音的监视器或者指示器。 巴克斯代尔压力开关主要应用于在液压系统里:
1)监视器的最小压力例如对泵体进行保护避免再干燥的条件下运行,或者对油润滑系统的进行保护。
2) 监视器的最高压力,例如自动断开功能或者在减压阀阀口达到限制压力之前发出报警 ( 图1).
巴克斯代尔压力开关的另外一个用途是对贮存装载过程进行控制。在达到贮存量的限值后(Pmax),流体被停止,泵件关闭。 如果贮存压力达成最小值(Pmin),流体/泵体将再次自动启动。 开关的滞后效应(Pmax-Pmin)可以通过两个压力开关和一个螺线管阀门自由进行选择(图2).
在一定压力范围内,存储过程可以通过一个单压力开关装载进行控制,即KD1(小型压力开关)巴克斯代尔对该应用作了专门的设计 (参阅第54页)。 Pmax和Pmin压力点的设定由厂家根据您的要求进行设定。
2.压力开关的机械寿命和准确度
压力开关的机械寿命和准确度取决于频率和压力峰值转换,负荷循环的次数以及温度的影响。最高准确超过30%,最长的机械寿命低于性能范围规定的70% (图3).
3.触点材料
巴克斯代尔压力开关装备由微型开关银质接触材料。根据相关要求,我们也供应镀金微型开关接触材料。镀金的接触材料大部分使用在暴露于低电负荷的微型开关上。图4描述了银质或镀金接触材料的标准值。我们很高兴能够提供适合您需要的材料。

4,接触保护
所使用的微动开关(MS)通常适于双向和交流运作。电感性负载,电容负载和电灯负载可以在相当大程度上降低微动开关的预期寿命,不过在极端情形下,会使接触材料损坏。
电容负载和电灯负载
电容负载和电灯负载可能伴随着非常高的放电率或者起动电流15 倍的电流。 在这种情况下,必须准备相应限流器(例如使用保护电阻) (见图5和图6)。
电感性负载
高感应峰值负载在断开时,在相当大程度上地降低微动开关的寿命。必须按照图7和图8的要求配置保护导线。个别的元件的类别根据相关的应用而定( 二极管,变阻器等)。
5.关于系统内的脉动和振动怎样进行补救:
关于系统内的脉动和振动能对压力开关的功能造成影响。有两不同类压力开关,类型一:对在实际操作内发生脉动和振动进行保护。类型二:精密设计或最佳的调整能够使其在这样的影响下更加敏感。关于振动阻力参考第4 页和第5的小型压力开关数值。
为保证的压力开关的功能,请遵循下列建议:
1.机械振动
使用橡胶减震垫,当把装置安装在墙上时。
2.媒介的脉动/ 振动
- 使用灵活的软管。 如果不具备该技术,在压力开关的前面安置衰减器,例如:
- 螺旋管
- 商业脉动衰减器
- 隔膜式蓄能器
当气穴加强振动时,请保证液压系统能够正确排放。

1. Applications for Mechanical Pressure Switches
Pmax + xbar

Mechanical pressure switches, also known as hydro-electric pres¬sure monitors, are used to connect or disconnect electric circuits. A pressure switch can serve as a modular unit as well as an opti¬cal or acoustic monitor or indicator. Barksdale pressure switches are chiefly used in hydraulic systems for:
a) monitoring minimum pressures such as protecting pumps from
dry operation or as protection for oil lubrication systems.
b) monitoring maximum pressures such as automatic switch-off
function or warning before a relief-valve jet reaches its limit pres¬
sure (Fig. 1).
Another application for Barksdale pressure switches is the control of storage loading processes. After the storage capacity is reached (Pmax) the flow is stopped and the pump shuts down. If the storage pressure reaches a certain minimum (Pmin) the flow/ pump automatically starts up again. The switch hysteresis (Pmax -Pmin) can be freely selected via two pressure switches and one solenoid valve (Fig. 2).
Within certain pressure ranges the storage process can be con¬trolled with a single pressure switch, the KD1 (compact pressure switch) which Barksdale specifically designed for this application (see page 54). The pressure set points Pmax and Pmin are fac¬tory set, according to your requirements.
2. Mechanical Life Span and Accuracy of Pressure Switches
The life span and accuracy of mechanical pressure switches de¬pends on the frequency and peaks of pressure changes, number of load cycles, and influence of temperature. The highest accuracy is achieved above 30%, the longest life span below 70% of the performance range (Fig. 3).

3. Material of Contacts
Barksdale pressure switches have silver contact microswitches. On request, we also supply microswitches with gold-plated contacts. Gold-plated contacts are almost exclusively used on microswitches that are only exposed to low electrical loads. Fig. 4 depicts the standard values of silver or gold-plated contacts. We would gladly assist you in the selection of the material best suited for your application.
Summary
Current and voltage should not exceed 0.12 VA. Recommended values: the current should range at < 400 mA and the voltage at < 30 V. If operated on alternating current the above values are peak values.

4, Contact Protection
The microswitches (MS) used are normally suitable for both direction and alternating current operation. Inductive, capacitive and lamp loads may, however, considerably reduce the life expectancy of a microswitch and, under extreme circumstances, even damage the contacts.
Capacitive Loads and Lamp Loads
Capacitative and lamp loads may be accompanied by very high discharge rates or starting current rushes 15 times higher than the rated value. Under such circumstances, it is necessary to provide for corresponding current limiters (for instance the use of a protective resistance) (see fig. 5 and 6).
Inductive Loads
High inductive peak loads at the moment of disconnection may considerably reduce the life span of a microswitch. The necessary protective wirings may be accomplished according to fig. 7 and 8, the ratings of the individual elements (diode, varistor etc.) being determined by the corresponding application.
5. Pulsation and Vibrations within the system? How to remedy the problem:
Pulsation and vibrations within the system can affect the function of the pressure switch. There are two different types of pressure switches, type A is sufficiently protected against pulsation and vibrations occurring in practical operation due to its solid design. Type B is designed for precision or finest adjustments which, consequently, makes it more sensitive toward such influences. Please refer to page 4 and 5 for compact pressure switch values regarding vibration resistance.
To ensure the proper functioning of the pressure switch, please observe the following recommendations:
1. Mechanical Vibrations
Use rubber buffers when mounting the units to the wall.
2. Pulsation/Vibration of the Medium
Use flexible hose pipes. If this is technically not possible, place attenuators in front of the pressure switch, for example:
- helical pipes
- commercial pulsation attenuators
- diaphragm accumulators
As air pockets enhance vibrations, please ensure that the hy¬draulic system is properly vented.
